Customer Service Advisor

We are looking for vibrant, dynamic, customer orientated and well-spoken staff member to fill this vacancy.

The prospective candidate will report directly to the Director regarding daily/hourly feedback on all aspects of their duties

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • To provide a professional and efficient customer service to our clients that will lead to client satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage the client’s expectation and timelines.
  • Provide an intermediary service between service providers and the insurer/insured ensuring that the best possible service is given at all times.


Duties Will Include:

  • ·         Run an efficient customer service desk in handling Insurer/Insured/Service Provider queries and where necessary allocating queries to the relevant person and following up on the query until resolved and completed.
  • ·         Checking of Internal and External Assessors previously appointed lists and following up on all outstanding assessors work.
  • ·         Checking that all work appointed previous day has been allocated correctly on the system.
  • ·         Arranging up-lifting of vehicles for assessors where necessary and following up on the uplifting to ensure a quick turnaround time of the assessment as per our set targets.
  • ·         Appointing of External Assessors in the correct regions.
  • ·         Continuous follow up of External Assessors regarding outstanding work.
  • ·         Invoicing.
  • ·         Arranging of Re-Assessments.
  • ·         Cancelling of assessments where required by our clients.
  • ·         Fill in on other staff positions when necessary to ensure service levels are maintained.


  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with service providers and customers.
  • Be able to work under pressure and handle irate clients in a composed manner.
  • Deal with client queries timeously in an open, professional and empathetic manner.
  • Provide professional and correct advice and ensure that our customer’s interests are safeguarded at all times.
  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and contentious improve methods, approaches and departmental contribution.
  • Be confident and trustworthy
  • Be able to work well under a high pressure environment
  • Have a reputation of building good relationships (Both internally and externally)
  • Be computer literate with experience in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Work accurately and pay attention to details
  • Have the ability to adapt to constant changes
  • Have excellent negotiation skills to represent the company in a favorable manner
  • Have the ability to make decisions and have accountability
  • Have proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the telephone
  • Be a team player and take responsibility for own development initiatives
